Machine Operator – Weekend Shift (3 – 12 Hour Shifts)
Job Description:
- Operate various automatic machining centers
- Maintain required productivity levels (efficiency & utilization)
Job Responsibilities:
- Produce required quality of work
- Contribute to continuous improvement daily
- Adheres to all Safety and Health standards.
Job Requirements:
Education Required:
- High school diploma
Experience Required:
- Understand and interpret blueprints and production documents an asset
- Experience working on milling and lathe machines an asset
- Previous shop floor experience working through a variety of work centers or areas
Skills and Attributes Required:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proven ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic and challenging environment by effectively organizing, prioritizing, and executing
- Ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Availability to work every Saturday and Sunday, with a 12-hour shift during the weekday.
