Monarch Industries is committed to providing quality products and operational excellence. We align our practices with lean manufacturing techniques to provide CONTINUOUS PURSUIT OF EXCELLENCE THROUGH QUALITY AND SERVICE. Monarch Industries has accreditation for both the ISO 9001 Quality and ISO 14001 Environmental standards within its operations, engineering, and manufacturing processes. These systems provide the backbone and foundation to Monarch’s quality and environmental systems.

Technologies Supporting Monarch Quality Systems:
Measurement Analysis
Monarch uses state-of-the-art 3D scanning technology to achieve extremely accurate measurements of all our products and / or sub-components, as well as various industry accepted measurement tools.

Cleanliness Testing
Monarch performs the following Cleanliness Testing measures and performs this testing using the latest technology, through microscopic scanning, according to ISO 4405, 4406, and 4407:
- Gravimetric Analysis
- Abrasive Particle Analysis
- Non-Abrasive Particle Analysis
- Fibre Analysis

Gating Design and Simulation
Monarch Industries uses Magmasoft solidification simulation software for all castings produced. This state-of-the-art software allows swift and accurate simulation of multiple gating systems.
Benefits include:
- Optimization of gating systems to increase yields
- Easy prediction of locations of porosity
- Verification of gating systems and foundry parameters to eliminate porosity
- Analyzing metal velocities during pouring to reduce air entrapment and sand washout
- Reducing times required to product and submit sound casting sample to customers

Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
Monarch uses the Advanced Product Quality Planning techniques, developed by the Automotive Industry Action Group (AIAG). These include:
- Design Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (DFMEA)
- Process Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (PFMEA)
- Control Plans
- Flow Charts
- Production Part Approval Process (PPAP)

In-Process Quality Controls
Monarch uses in-process quality controls within our casting operation to ensure the quality of our sands and metals meet the ASTM Materials and Grades, in addition to Product Quality. These include:
- Chemical Spectrometry
- Microstructure Analysis
- Hardness Testing
- Tensile Testing
- Sand Testing
- Carbon Equivalent Testing
